Meditation: Odyssey Into Your All

Are you ready to begin your odyssey, perhaps the longest journey you have thus far taken or will ever take? It will be fraught with adventure, perhaps some fear at times, excitement, joy, pain, sorrow, maybe even grief, surprise, wonder and awe.

It is the journey into yourself - not the self that you perceive yourself to be in your consciousness, but your very Self, your totality, the essence of you, the you that is all-everlasting, ever-expanding, pure mind that incarnates aspects of itself over and over in order to experience - to make choices - to learn - to create new possibilities - to achieve wisdom and gain omniscience and thus to contribute to the gaining of omniscience of the Source, thereby ever expanding the limitless universe itself.

You have already travelled a very long way, with a long way to go - each of you on your own pathway.

Now allow yourself to meet yourself.

As king. Notice your appearance, your palace, feel your power, see your Royal Family. Recognize anyone? Notice what you learned as contribution to your totality.

Now meet yourself:
• As beggar; expand.
• As farmer; expand.
• As prisoner; expand.
• As Indian; expand. Are you a warrior, chief, medicine man, woman? How are you dressed: Can you see your surroundings?
• As Oriental; expand.
• As African tribesman; expand.
• As early American slave; expand.
• As frontiersman or woman; expand.
• As great warrior; expand.
• As a fool; expand.
• As monk; expand.
• As murderer; expand.
• As executioner; expand.
• As explorer; expand.
• As leper; expand.
• As president, or president's wife; expand.
• As inventor; expand.
• As artist; expand.
• As musician; expand.
• As writer; expand.
• As healer, doctor, nurse; expand

You have been all things, all of the human experience - you are a kingdom. Your kingdom is within and you are the king and queen. As you meet and honor all that you are, know that you are complete. Allow none other to invade and conquer your kingdom. By the same token, invade and conquer none other. As all aspects of YOU learn to live in mutual harmony and respect brotherhood within, so it is with the kingdom of all others.

Remembering all that you saw and experienced, return to your own here and now quietly, bringing along honor and reverence for yourself.

We suggest that you list the you's that you saw, along with any impressions. How do those you's relate to this live experience: begin to write your odyssey in a journal.
